Seven and a half years ago, I wrote a comedic story for the sheer fun of it. When it was finished, I didn’t know what to do with it. It was such a quirky kind of story—screwball comedy historical fiction—or western—that I had absolutely no idea who the audience was, where and how to publish it, or how in the world to market it or describe it. So I ended up putting it away for a while…a “while” that turned into months, and then years. But it still brought a huge grin to my face every time I pulled it out to re-edit it a bit, and I knew that someday, somehow, I had to find a way to share it with readers.
So finally, as you may recall, in the summer of 2017 I tried an experiment: I began sending out chapters of A Sidekick’s Tale to my email list as a twice-weekly serial story. And the response to it was so delightfully encouraging, I knew I had to bring it into print at last! It took a little longer than I thought, but today, I am so happy to finally be able to say it: A Sidekick’s Tale is now available in ebook and paperback!

What readers are saying:
“This was absolutely a scream!…Plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, a wonderfully farcical plot, and twists that caught me completely offguard. I gulped it in one sitting and loved it.” ~ Suzannah Rowntree, author of Pendragon’s Heir
“My mouth was literally open with surprise and laughter by the first few pages. Characters were zany, hilarious and human but best of all THE VOICE; the turn of phrase in this book is hysterical, unique…I was actually chuckling out loud as I read it; something that rarely happens.” ~ Goodreads reviewer
