“A good, rousing snow-storm…None of your meek, gentle, nonsensical, shilly-shallying snow-storms; not the sort where the flakes float lazily down from the sky as if they didn’t care whether they ever got here or not, and then melt away as soon as they touch the earth, but a regular business-like whizzing, whirring, blurring, cutting snow-storm, warranted to freeze and stay on!”
~ Kate Douglas Wiggin, The Birds’ Christmas Carol

So pretty!

That's precisely the sort of snow I want too! Sometimes I miss Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota a LOT, especially in the winter when I'm stuck with this listless, meandering snow that has so little gumption and stick-to-it-iveness.

Have you been having this kind of snow where you live? It has been unusually cold here, even icy, and I've noticed heavy amounts of snowfall farther north

We're finally getting it now! Just got a good 8-10 inches overnight. Love it! 🙂

Yep, that looks like the classic Christmastime weather we don't get here in Texas! 🙂
