I shall be on an Internet vacation through the holiday week, though I have a couple of posts scheduled for around New Year’s. So in the meantime, I will leave you with a bit of Christmas cheer in the form of Buster and Bär playing in the snow. Mom and I took them out one very frosty morning (dressed for the occasion, as you can see) and managed, with a lot of maneuvering and dog treats, to get some cute shots.
Baby Bär—who doesn’t give a hoot about cold, snow and ice. In fact, she loves it. She likes nothing better than romping through the snow and chewing up chunks of ice, and will catch snowballs out of the air and eat them. She has never shown the least sign of being cold at all, when the rest of us (including Buster) are shivering.

We had a dog years ago that looked like Buster. When we lived in Indiana we would let him out and he would tunnel under the snow then come inside and warm his snow covered, frozen whiskers on my mom's bare legs. Thanks for the picks that brought back fond memories. Merry Christmas

Love the pics. They'd be great for alleviating depression. Very cute. 🙂
